One of the key success factors in the implementation of knowledge management initiatives lies in the fact that its purpose responds to challenges and business objectives of the organization, without losing sight that this happens on the basis of dynamic exchange and collaboration, involving, in themselves significant operational and cultural challenges.

The knowledge management strategy is the focus of a company to manage intellectual, or human capital, so as to facilitate the collection, storage and exchange of information within an organization

That is why it is necessary to articulate knowledge management strategies in a dynamic context that allow fit the purpose, approach, reality and maturity of the organization.

The success of a company depends largely on its ability to capture and share vital information in order to maintain or increase their competitive advantage. Organizational knowledge tends to reside in the individual, which results in poor exchange systems and very little production of new knowledge, this justifies the need to implement knowledge management systems.

The ability to capture the knowledge and experience of the employees of a
company and share such knowledge and experience with other workers will result in innovation and improvement of existing processes.

knowledge management can affect the performance of the company due to their effectiveness in developing intellectual assets that lead to competitive advantage. Develop a knowledge management strategy for a company directly increases the innovative performance of the firm and eventually filters down to the lower levels of the organization, processes and partners.
