Who is this guy, George Soros?

Up till recently I didn't know about him. It was watching one of the programs of ATTAC TV when I heard about him and his dealings with money.
This is what I learnt.
He's a financial speculator and investor. He was born in Budapest, but he's a Jew of Hungarian origin that holds a US nationality.
According to Forbes magazine, he's on the seventh place as the richest man on Earth.
His is a life devoted to financial speculation as it was proved on September 16th 1992 when he provoked bankrupt of the Bank of England. This date is known as ''bleak Wednesday'' as at that time, British Pound sterling was very low. He, then started to buy sterling to the extend of provoking scarcity of sterling the world over. Therefore and because of such scarcity, the British pound sterling went up. It was then when he started to sell the sterling pounds he'd accumulated to profit from the high value he'd created.
He's also a supporter of social movements under his own philosophy of ''open society'' He backed and financed trade union movements in Eastern Europe such as the Polish trade union known as Solidarity as well as other movements in Eastern Europe to smash the power of the Soviet Union.
If we read his biography, we'll see that he's done no productive work in his life, except to financial speculation and to support social movements for his own economic profit and gains.
He was one of the share holders in FCC from Spain, holding a 3,8% in the building and services company, but after an agreement with Esther Koplowitz, managing director, he'll own a 25% and he'll be in charge of the extension of the company that otherwise would have been Esther Koplowitz's task.
As I've read on the Internet, this man is a serious enemy to mankind for his greed to accumulate money and to speculate with it whenever he feels it's suitable. Men like him can make governments and even nations to shake.

I don't agree with your condemnation of Soros' money making skills; after all most of us would like to make money like he has; he has used his mind and skills which is great. However, Soros is a dangerous individual supporting very left leaning groups and agendas which serve no purpose except to create mayhem and confusion.

I'm not the only one to write about thi man. Search on the Internet and you'll find lots of articles on him and his financial speculations that have probably researched in depth. I've never been a supporter to former Soviet Union, but suspect of all these leaders or movements that rise too fast. All of us would like to have more money to allow us live better, but not speculating financially. This is what he's always done. Search. I'm not the only one saying this. Any serious and honest economist will say so.

As G K Chesterton said, if you're clever enough to get all the money you must be stupid enough to want it.
