A look at the reasons Tech Stocks tend to go up during a certain part of the year and my opinion on one good stock that could be a winner.

Cloud Computing......Mobile Networking.....Social Media

August and September have usually been the biggest months in government purchasing because if they don't spend the obligated funds before the end of the fiscal year on Sept. 30 they will lose the money. Cash rich Corporations are expected to splurge about now as well as they prepare for the coming year and deal with balance sheets.

I have been reading estimates that there will be a 6-8% increase in IT spending for 2011. That would be over one and a half Trillion dollars. I have narrowed this down to three main winners: mobile networking, cloud computing, and social media.

Cloud Services: This area could grow north of 50% from 2010 according to some analysts. Apple is among those who have prepared for this expanding their infrastructure to include Cloud Services.

Mobile Networking: Mobile phones and devices will reign king, outnumbering PCs this next year. With this downloads will grow as well. Downloads are expected to go from 10 billion in 2010 to 25 billion in 2012.

Social Media: This is a topic that has infiltrated us all and taken over. Any corporation in the world who is not using it should be. Social Media could grow to double over the next four years. Emerging markets are expected to account for most of IT spending globally. New hardware spending will be needed to meet this demand and software spending should follow. Everything is changing, there are a million new ways to spend money as these three areas start to mingle and work of off and integrate with each other. There is no limit.

I think the buy here is Juniper Networks, Inc. or ticker JNPR they traded at about $19.19 a share today and I think they can go to $40. Juniper recently announced that it's network infrastructure has been deployed by the University of Auckland, New Zealand.

I think this is the first of hundreds like it to come. There is no limit with this one.
