Necessary Practices In Common Courtesy

The most important thing you can do in life is to be kind, use common courtesy and try always to tell the truth. In all walks of life, whether its business or in your personal life, always be true to these principles. Being merciful, loving and kind to all things (except blood suckers, as I don't like mosquitoes or spiders)

Honesty

Have you heard the term, "honesty is the best policy"? Well its true. Integrity begins with honesty and if you want any job or employment it is best to be as honest as if you were dealing directly with God Almighty. Because he knows every thought that you will ever think. So honesty in relationships, business practices and life in general is the the best policy that you can do for yourself and others. It will create you a name that is backed up with trust. People will value your word.

Integrity

Honesty is the first step toward making yourself a name that can be trusted. It will make you a name that has honesty behind it. If you make a mistake, honesty will cause you to make that mistake a righted mistake. And lets face it, everyone makes mistakes sometime in life. But standing behind and making a mistake right will tell people that the one walking in your shoes is a person with integrity.

Kindness

Kind acts get you thought of well by other people but to be truly kind one must practice in full in your mind also as well as to outwardly kind to others. Charity is fine but if you want to be thought of as a genuinely kind person you must also be merciful too. Mercy plays a good part in kindness, for it takes mercy in your heart to create a kind act from it.

Loving God's Great Earth And Everything In It

Common courtesy to all, whether you are answering the phone to someone you don't know or feeding a hungry and lost animal. For instance, if someone calls to try to get you to buy or take something, please be kind to them. They are just trying to do a job, to make it in this hostile world. In some cases you must be firm and kind. Its what I try to do, for that person may be having a rough time in their life. And admit it, it doesn't hurt you to be kind to other people or animals now does it. Helping others should be a way of life, for when we practice such things as common courtesy, honesty, mercy, and integrity we are living as God would want us to. Yes and we are living and being kind to all his creatures. We will be living an upright life, caring for the planet and the animals he wanted us to, and treating our fellow man as we do ourselves.

Volunteering is Caring For Others

Volunteering is some one who lovingly helps others. They are kind, having true common courtesy and trying their best to spread that feeling to others. The world would be a better place if more people showed these traits in life. I really look forward to the day the whole world will be this way.

Hi Grumpybear,

I could not agree with your more. What you are describing was referred to as "Judeo-Christian morals" when I was being raised at my mother's knee. These basic values are still in effect to this day unless someone changed the rules and did not tell me. Living by these rules and attitudes have been serving me very well for over 60 years.

One thing that I would like to add is that a "smile" is always a plus and it makes for a pleasant interaction with others.

May our God continue to bless the works of your hands.
