Great Lakes Distillery is a business that makes different kinds of spirits. The business is located in the Menomonee Valley area of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

About Great Lakes Distillery

Great Lakes Distillery is located in the heart of the Menomonee Valley in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The distillery is founded by Guy Rehorst and he has built an awesome small batch artisan distillery. The distillery is committed to produce spirits in limited quantity products to make sure the product is in excellent quality. They use old world methods and traditions that they believe will result in a very superior product. They also use local ingredients whenever they have the opportunity to get them. The distillery products has been winning awards for their products.

Tours And Events

Great Lakes Distillery does have tours for people to come and see their distillery and to see how the different types of spirits are made. They also hold different types of events that is held either at the distillery or around town. The public and businesses can also hold private events at the distillery as well for private parties such as social cocktail parties, corporate happy hours and fundraisers. Their tasting room is able to accommodate up to 70 seated guests and up to 120 standing. The distillery also offers an awesome landscaped outdoor patio that can accommodate about 65 guests. The patio offers some of the most beautiful views of the Downtown Milwaukee skyline and view of scenic sites of the Walker's Point Neighborhood.

Tasting Room

The Great Lakes Distillery has an awesome tasting room that is centered around a circular bar that is a holding the company's hand crafted spirits. It is a place where after a tour of the place or for special events. They do have regular tasting hours for people to come in for the distillery's spirits to try and relax after work or after the big day around town. There is also a shop where you are able to buy Rehorst spirits, glassware, souvenirs and more.

Great Lakes Distillery Products

Great Lakes Distillery has a great variety of products (spirits) that they make in small batches. These are the products that they are currently making at the distillery- Menomonee Valley Straight Rye Whiskey, Absinthe- Amerique 1912 Absinthe Verte, Amerique 1912 Absinthe Rouge, Artisan Series Brandy- Aged Apple Brandy, Peach, Pear, Kirschwasser, and Grappa, Rehorst Citrus & Honey Vodka, Rehorst Gin, Pumpkin Seasonal Spirit, Roaring Dan’s Rum, Kinnickinnic Whiskey, Rehorst Vodka.
