I'm still here

I have not posted for a while here but "I’m still here" like Ram Dass said. (he used it for a title for one of his books) I now will share a new business adventure with you all.

Online business opportunities are endless

There is so much going on for me, I hardly have the time to get to my daily walk before dinner time. Apart from writing for Bubblews.com and hubpages.com, I have discovered Zazzle.com and redbubble.com

Let me elaborate on the last two sites for a bit

My first love has always been to express myself with visual art, no matter what medium. Writing in the form of storytelling came much later.
How I came onto the two product sites was through a friend on Skype. I had never heard of websites where you can use your own artwork, (to which you own the copyright) and use it on as many products like pillows, tote bags, mugs, T-shirts, greetings cards and for the many electronic devices like cell phone and tablet covers to just name a few items.

The Past is Catching up on me

After having done some heavy browsing through the online stores from other members, I realized the potential that was clearly shown to me. All the photos of my leather crafts and drawings and paintings could give me an income in the long run. How cool is that!

Learning a new skill

I started with Redbubble and I soon got the hang of it. It was really great to suddenly see the photos of my artwork appearing on physical products people can buy.
I spent quite a few hours learning the ropes, and reading and visiting other member’s portfolios. Most members are true artists. Some are painters, or they already are product designers as a profession, so I needed to steal their skills with my eyes.
What I mean is, I needed to learn what might sell and what might not.

A few days later I discovered Zazzle

Boy that was truly an eye-opener. There were so many more opportunities to explore. I signed up and got started.

I was totally amazed at the possibilities the co-founder of zazzle is talking about.
This site works very differently to Redbubble, so I needed to go to look at some videos to get an idea. That was very helpful. I always tell others, if you do not know how something is done, look for a YouTube tutorial!

Now at Zazzle you can create your own shop. I now realized that I had to split my designs into three categories.

Just Kidding

The name Just Kidding was born because I used to have a clothing label with that name. As you will find out everything has a history with me.
In this Zazzle shop I will incorporate many photos from my leather work and my oil paintings, drawings and graphics.

The Awakening

The Awakening shop is purely for all my designs I have created for articles on topics that are all to do with our transformation.
But now I came up with a great idea. At least I think so

Kima Global gift shop

All the products in this online shop are linked to our book titles. Since I am the creative director of Kima Global Publishers and designed all the covers, what a great way to further promote all our titles. I use the book cover designs and illustrations I created, since we hold the copyright on them and now I found a different way to market them.

I'm still here

So you see there are always business opportunities available.
Now you all know where I have been, but... I will keep coming back.
Thanks for reading
