Leading business woman advises you on how you can avoid being cheated out of your hard earned money.

It is easy when you know how....

For years I owned and ran businesses and one of the main problems I encountered was people who were not genune wanting to get a job working for me, or people who were claiming to be genuine saying they wanted to provide me with goods, services or become clients. I soon got to know which was which and who was who but it cost me to find out and I had to learn my lesson the hard way sometimes.

However with a typical con that goes around where the victim is not singled out personally and is targetted by someone unknown it is usually quite easy for a sharp individual to spot it is a scam. Take for example an email I received recently where
it purported to be from a church in Africa saying they desperately needed money donated to them to buy bibles. Of course, it made no sense at all. They did not know me and they would not suddenly have found that all of their bibles disappeared and needed to be replaced. But they were banking - a good word for it - on me being naive, gullible, daft and generous and sending them the money.

Most cons though are based on you being greedy or wanting something for nothing or wanting a lot more out of the situation than you put into it. So you can avoid being conned by looking at how realistic the offer is. If you were this other person would you be as generous as they are being? Would you go about it the way they are?
There is a well known saying that if you buy cheap you buy twice and it is all too true, it actually works out costing you more than buying properly once. A good example is
with a psychic reading where people rush for a very cheap one and then wonder why it was no good. If you were any good would you be so desperate for clients that you were very cheap? No! However, a qualified, experienced professional will provide an accurate reading at a competitive price. You can get one at You can even read a lot of their testimonials, received from grateful clients, some of them very famous, first.

As always... If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
