Content writing has come out as a bright job opportunity in the modern world. But can it be a living? Please have a deep insight into the matter before you make any opinion of your own.

Is it quite possible to generate some bucks from writing content?

Yes it is. The world today is completely dependent on content. Almost all growing and established companies and organizations hire content-writers to get web-content, blog-posts or product-reviews to promote their respective businesses or websites. All you need is a knack for writing and a capability to produce smart, unique and well-researched content.

Can you really depend on content-writing as a profession?

The main question is whether you wish it or not. There are numerous writers who are generating a good living just from writing content. If you have a quick look at different content writing service providers, writers from different parts of the world everyday work there to write web-content and earn a living. They do not have any other resources or income.

Can you think of a relaxed life if you take content writing as a profession?

Well! You can take it the way you want. Content writing, being a freelance job, is open to people from any corner of the world. You don't even have to move to any office or company premises for work. Again it is available in both part-time and full-time basis. Even if you get up from bed late at 10 in the morning, you can set for a dependable freelance content writing job, working the rest of the day. Just utilize your spare time in producing top quality content.

How can you demand a high rate for your writing?

When you start a career in freelance writing, you can hardly demand a high rate for your labor. You may be a top quality writer, but first you have to establish your quality to your employer and of course to the world before you come to a position where you can really negotiate with the rate. The pen of a successful writer is enough to demand a real high rate for him.

How can you take your talent to a better level in content-writing jobs?

As you keep working as a professional content writer, you get to write content in different topics. Sometimes you write even on some completely unknown subjects and niches. As a result you keep on gaining experience and this helps you become an expert writer. Thus you gradually take on even harder and challenging topics or move on to write eBooks. You can also become capable enough to work as a ghostwriter for some other professionals.

Do you miss proper social connection since content writing is a lonely job?

Social connection is a very important part of life. But it depends more on your character or willingness than on the type of job you are involved. Again as content writing is a freelance job, you can extract some time from your schedule quite easily for social affairs. So, there's no serious reason why a content writer cannot carry on proper social connection. You just need to have the mind to balance between your personal life and your professional needs.

Yes, it all depends on our take on life, Avik. Most have little choice but to work for others and to dance to their tunes! So for those willing to slog it out, they can as well settle for a life that they can be in charge of. Th price they pay is the fixed salary they have to give up for some uncertain income. But then, one becomes master of one's own destiny and realize true worth! siva

very good, you are right. I started with helium and now write for content sites like iwrite and instastudios. The pay is low in instastudios though. I am able to contribute to the family income even though I am a housewife, thanks to technology.

There are many sites which pay for what you write. If one is keen on making money he can take it up seriously.
