Becoming an entrepreneur isn't just something one becomes: I had to research and learn for myself which direct selling/affiliate businesses were for me, and which ones I needed to take a pass on... There's a future in businesses in deregulation and personal development, so I jumped on the two businesses I believe will get me to financial prosperity, and will benefit my personal growth as well.

The Opportunities

There are two businesses that I have partnered up with as a direct seller. I had to be careful in choosing these businesses--making sure that they had the right products to offer onto others.... Are the companies legit? Do they have good and profitable compensation plans?--and the most important question was and still is--do I believe in the the the visions these businesses have for the general public?

YES!

The businesses I have become an independent business owner in involves deregulation and personal development. Those two things are very important in a life full of struggles. But, let's examine these businesses and what they have to offer, I'll tell you a bit about my experiences in how I learned of their existence, and then I'll conclude with the hopes that you and I are on the same page.

Definitions:

Deregulation--The removal of government controls from an industry or sector, to allow for a free and efficient marketplace.

Personal Development:--The process of improving oneself through such activities as enhancing employment skills, increasing consciousness and building wealth. The growing success of the self-help and personal development movement has assisted many business managers in obtaining more qualified and motivated personnel for their companies, and it has also encouraged more people to go into business for themselves.

ACN (All Communications Network)

Years ago I was a partner in a multi-level marketing company by the name of i-link; i-link was in the business of providing flat-rate long distance plans that cascaded down in price, as more and more people took advantage of its low rates. This was in the early nineties, and also my first glimpse of the deregulation movement. Sprint was the biggest monopoly for long distance phone service at the time. This business was terribly competitive and needless to say I didn't last very long as a direct seller for i-link.

I tried a couple more MLM businesses, but, they also weren't very good experiences. And because of my history, I told myself that I was never going to participate in another network marketing business again.

UNTIL...

Back in late December of 2012, around Christmas to be exact, I met a chef that worked at the restaurant I frequented. It was right across the street from my apartment building. This restaurant was and still is in trouble. It was more so in trouble when they employed this fraud that decided to play chef, where he came pretty close to ruining this place of businesses chances of ever staying open. He was a thief, he couldn't cook, he didn't clean the kitchen, EVER, and he talked mess behind the owners whenever he had the chance... He was soon fired for trying to steel a bottle of liquor, and soon after a new chef was hired. I went to the restaurant and had his food for the first time, and I loved it. The chef, owners and I started talking more, and I began to write good yelp reviews about the chef, and, how the owners have made smarter choices in running their business (they still don't have a clue, the restaurant is still suffering but, it's doing better because of the food. The chef has saved them some time). The chef and I hit it off more than the owners and I did, and then the day that held that potentially life-changing question arrived...

Chris and I were talking one night: he was in the kitchen and I was talking to him through the expediting window. We were talking about our professions and he was listing off all the jobs he had, so he could keep up with the bills. He said he was glad we were on the topic of our professions because he was looking for someone who likes to make money... He owned a business of his own and he started to explain what it was... Immediately I threw up my wall, it was another MLM business. I looked at him with a look of disappointment and asked; "This isn't a network marketing thing is it?" Chris looked at me and asked; "Well, what's wrong with network marketing?" I explained my negative history with MLM companies and he understood where I was coming from. He also had a couple of negative experiences of his own. But, when he told me that the company he partnered up with, ACN, was nothing like any other direct selling business, and why, I started to listen carefully.

ACN is the fastest growing and largest telecommunications business for direct sellers in the world. Its focus is on DEREGULATION, everything that we need or use on a regular basis: including gas and electric (residential and business--in select states for the time being). So we're talking about internet, cellphone's and their carrier--name brands and the brand ACN has used to get a part of the action, home security, digital phones, local and long-distance, and more.

ACN has interrupted the monopolies that have controlled our pockets for so long, and have given people, not just more choices in prices, but, a chance to get paid for becoming a part of this deregulation revolution.

This business has been a great investment and I am glad that I am a part of the team...

Inspired Living Application (ILA)

I stumbled onto ILA on twitter... I was building my network and met an Independent Business Owner using this mobile application's name in his username. I found out what this app was about by clicking on one of the links on this persons tweets, and the link brought me to his Inspired Living App site. I learned that this app was all about something I needed in my life--PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT. The more I researched about this one-of-a-kind app, the more I liked it. My favorite parts of it was the fact that it gave people the opportunity to earn cash as an affiliate. The entry fee was under ten-dollars with no extra/added fees, and the potential compensation was in the thousands... The other part that landed the deal for me was the fact that it was a, "Forced Matrix (all referrals will automatically be placed in the order they were referred into by the I.B.O (Independent Business Owner), which also means a spillover--uplines referrals overflow into their downlines matrix), so there was no need for recruiting or even sponsoring (if the I.B.O didn't feel like it). I have already acquired four Associates just from "spillover"...

This is a great business, it's easy, cheap, efficient in its payout, and beneficial to a healthy attitude when dealing with people in business, as well as, on a personal level.

It takes Time (tying it all together)

It Takes time to research a business before investing in it; I learned the hard way that there are some investments that just aren't worth making... But, when the good investments show themselves, I knew by the visions of success my heart showed my mind; and this happened while reading the information about the business ventures I decided to look into, and partner up with... Basically, I knew that these two business ventures were in the cards for me, because I could see myself being successful in them. I believe in these products, services, and reasons for these companies existing--so therefore I have invested wisely for my future-- and I believe that I can contribute to other people benefiting from what my businesses have to offer.

And there we have it--and I think most of us, if we weren't in the beginning, are definitely on the same page now...

What kinds of businesses pique your interests?
