Who are the public , and how do we know they will serve us honestly, and do what they are supposed to do. In some situations we find they are not up to standard.

Trustworthy and dependable?

Who are the public servants?
Are they to be trusted?
To what degree can you trust them?
Can you trust them with your wife?
Can you trust them with your pretty teenage daughter?
Is your home and valuables in good hands with them?

Public servants are the people who we have elected to be in charge of our country, our laws, our counties and cities. To be in charge of the armed forces in defense of our country, also the ambassadors who go to other countries to represent us on an international basis.

The list also includes the ones hired by those we elected. They are also public servants because they are doing a job for us. The police patrol our streets to keep us safe. The army fights to protect the country, from rebels or another country trying to invade us.

Are they trust worthy, most of the time we hire them then we find out. Will they take a bribe? Will they up hold the law and be non-partial to everyone concerned? If not then we are in real trouble.

Will they make everyone buy a business permit? Will they collect all the fee or taxes due? I seems that every one is not treated the same, in the paper today it was mentioned that a school had not gotten their permit and paid their fee, why who made them exempt?.

They are always trying to out do the other guy just so they can be number one at what ever it is. Is your home and valuables safe in the hands of the police, I worry about that, they might be the looters.

Frankly I would not trust any one to take care of my wife or daughter, they are. the most important thing in the world to me so I will be the one looking out for their welfare.

Generally we have to trust them because we elected them. They said “we will do the job you want if you trust us enough to elect us”. So we take them at their word and elect them, then hope they will get the job done.
