Building trust is the key in closing the sale. Do you know why people buy products from certain people? Because they trust them. It takes years to build the trust, but in a few seconds you can lose the trust, so you should be careful in the process of building the trust. No matter, how qualified you are or how experienced you are, if you are unable to build the trust, you will not be able to close the sale. Here are the tips that will help you build the trust -

1. If you want to be trustworthy, you have to be honest and sincere because people believe on honest and sincere people.

2. Don't lie in the process of selling. Lying can ruin the trust.

3. Care your customers and sell the product that is the best for your customers not because it gives you more commission. For example, in selling insurance policy be careful of selling the policy that gives you more commission instead sell the policy that will give the best benefits to your customers.

4. Listen the needs of your customers. Listening helps you build the trust.

5. Do your homework and get as much knowledge about your product or service and competitor's product or service because people tend to believe knowledgeable people.

6. Your body language should be positive and you should make eye contact with the prospects because it will help you build the trust.

7. Establish relationship with your customers because these relationships will help you build trust in long-term.

8. Be friendly with the customers and make them comfortable with you. This the best and practical tip that is I am sharing on the basis of my personal experience. The more you make your customers comfortable the more you will be able to close the sale. Nervous and uncomfortable customers never buy the products or services.
