This is an interesting venture all (not just wikinutters) should be interested in knowing. I just could not wait another second when I realize how careless and grossly ignorant I have been in not utilizing the wonders and magic of Redgage, here is a hint on how to fetch the Gold from Redgage.

I have been in Redgage for the past 5 weeks now and all I do is upload some of my wikinut articles, some few pictures, add friends and send request to other users, not until something struck me this morning (31.03.12). My earnings as of this day is $1.01 while a lady who joined just 2 days before (29.03.12) already accumulated $5.13. This is a lady with fewer subscribers (89 subscribers to my 599 subscribers); fewer uploaded contents (23 uploads to my 80 uploads) and a newbie when compared to me (just 2 days in the business, while I have a 5 weeks advantage for an experience). How possible is this magic?

Redgage is not just a bookmarking site where you share your internet contents to attract views or create more traffic generation, but also it is a social networking site where you can interact and communicate with your subscribers and those who subscribe to you. Above all, the uniqueness of this site is earning money while you share your contents.

Since it is more of a Business oriented site, subscribers here are like your friends when compared to a social networking site (let's say, like Facebook). But the difference is, for every profile status, photos you upload and links you share, you get some earnings if people (or your friends) get to read and view them. This is a blessing, isn't it? Don't get to excited yet, read on, after which you will get a link to register.

Create a community of Subscribers & Followers

I got to know about Redgage from a friend here on wikinut. He published an extra-ordinary article about the site and I did not hesitate registering. Then among the first 10 subscribers I got, one of them sent me a mail, giving me wonderful suggestions on how to go about on Redgage.

He asked me not to rush uploading contents, but rather I should take my time to build up a community of subscribers, by searching for friends, adding them and accepting friend requests as well. So, I did just that and by the time I got 200 friends (subscribers), I started uploading my first articles (here on wikinut). Normally, as of 5 weeks ago, I get an average of 450 views/day. When I uploaded My first 3 articles on Redgage, my daily views increased to 650. Since then, I did not look back. I paused to upload some interesting photos about Africa and Nigeria in particular and this gave me even more views!
So, my first professional advice to the prospective newbies in Redgage is :Take your time to build up a community for yourself.

My earnings then was rising steadily at about 3 cent/day. But I relented and was not uploading, neither was I adding new friends. As of 25.02.12 (February) I had 515 friends and now (Today, 31.03.12- Last day in March), I have about 599 friends, No consistency right? Been a saturday, I decided to dedicate 3 hours to my Redgage account, viewing pictures and friends and then something dilated my pupils. A lady joined on the 29.03.12, just two days back and already accumulated about $5 for herself. I immediately changed my status to ask the secret and I got a message which simply states :Do not slack, use your referrals, upload contents and as well participate well in the community. So here are my next professional advises:

Interact with the community you have built by sharing your internet contents with them (uploading photos and video, sharing links and giving comments/subscribing to your friends).

Do not relent in your work.

You have nothing to lose but everything to gain.

Don't worry if you are a newbie

The good thing about Redgage is: It is not only for people with internet contents (like us, the writers, bloggers etc), but it is for everyone. Take for instance, I can read an interesting news feed on yahoo and then I post it or share it on redgage. Since its an interesting content, most of my friends/subscribers would love to read it too. The more the read through the link on my profile the more money I earn, IT'S AS SIMPLE AS THAT!.

So, imagine you join redgage and you take your time to build up a community of 2000 friends and subscribers in your first two weeks, then you begin to post news feeds and entertainment links from entertainment sites and site such as Yahoo news, aol news, hotmail news, cnn etc, lets' say 3 links/day. At least, the 3 links should be able to attract atleast 500 views each from your 2000 friends, making 1500 views. That is already almost $1 (If not a little more, because I reached $1 at 1487 views). Is this not a wonderful way of earning some passive income?

This can even get better if you have referrals (this means, people or friends who register under you). You earn some percentages of their income too. But do not just get referrals and slack. Encourage them to make good use of the tools in Redgage and if possible publish articles such as this one (what I am doing right now), explaining to the general internet viewers of the importance of using the tools in Redgage. If they get to be consistent, it will help them and help you too as well.

So, my next professional advice is: Get referrals and educate them properly on Redgage

There are lots of tools and incentives Redgage has, but since I am not a staff there neither am I their marketing officer, I will not pour out every incentive or tool they have, but I encourage any prospective user to take their time to study everything Redgage has to offer before beginning anything.

It took me 3 weeks to know how to get my referrals, not until I went to one of their incentive programs and I found out. When you join and you want people to join under you, this is how you do it.

All you need to is to click on your profile, go to the Internet Bar on top of your internet page, and edit your redgage address by deleting all other characters just after the redgage.com, then add "/refby=(your username)". Then test it by clicking the "ENTER" button of your computer Keyboard. A dialogue registration box would be out and under the "referred by" Button, your username would be automatically placed there.

Finally, copy that referral link and put it anywhere you can get people to join under you. I seriously recommend this to any wikinut user, as well as other website content owners.
