How to be an interesting manager

If you are a boring person or a boring manager, then nobody will like you because everybody likes an interesting person whether a manager or any other person. There are many advantages of being an interesting manager and there are many disadvantages of being a boring manager. If you are an interesting manager, then your productivity will rise and if you are a boring manager, then it has negative effects on productivity. Productivity is related to environment and an interesting manage can create an environment where everybody loves to work. It is found in studies that interesting manager are much more capable of retaining talent than boring managers. Boring managers do not only lose productivity, but they are not able to satisfy the upper management, hence being an interesting manager can boost your career as well.

If you want to be an interesting manager, then you have to talk with your employees. There are many ways of being an interesting manager and because of many advantages of being interesting manager, everybody wants to be an interesting manager. Tell some jokes to your colleagues it will reduce stress level in employees and makes you an interesting manager. Create a challenging environment and give some good challenges to your employees. It is the key of being an interesting manager.

Listen problems and opinion of your employees and do not try to be dominated in discussion. Engage in conversation, ask good question and make work interesting. If you are not an interesting manager, then chances are high that you will not make as much progress as interesting managers.

Talk less and listen more because this the way of being an interesting manager. I want to share a top-secret of being an interesting manager and that is, be enthusiastic because enthusiasm is the main key of being an interesting manage. Enthusiastic managers always create an enthusiastic and interesting environment as well.

Take care of your body language and personality because employees attract towards energetic people and energetic people create an energetic and interesting environment, hence be energetic. Be familiar with your employees and listen to their problems including family related problems. People want to work with interesting people and nobody takes interest in boring manager, hence being interesting manager is a kind of win-win situation for you and your subordinates as well.

Thus it can be concluded that if you want to get attentions of others, then you have to be an interesting manager.
