Some of us have become extremely lazy in business since we have been depending far too much on Google search and Google marketing products e.g. Adwords. This article discusses how this has happened and what we can do to remedy the situation immediately
Google is the Middle Man that needs to be removed!
Every year it is becoming clearer to many of us that Google is trying to minimize the power of many individual websites and blogs. Just recently we discovered a new example of this when searching for people. Have you noticed that scraped content (images and text) related to these people now appears on the right hand side of Google's homepage after you have typed in the search query? If you do not understand what I mean, then take a look at the image example. A senior Google spokesman said in an interview that this new addition to the search engine will actually increase visits to other websites from these enlarged snippets because they will be enticed to look even deeper. The problem is that we have to believe this nonsense but many experts don't! Where is the data? Why do people make statements like this without giving any scientific proof? Google has lost almost all credibility with it's false reporting on Google Plus user engagement, so why should people believe them about this? Whatever is actually true does not matter. What needs to happen is businessmen and individuals should change their business model to the way it used to be before they depended entirely on Google. What was the business model before the Google era?

Thanks Siva for the intelligent reply. I feel that there is now a great need for people to come up with new technology to balance the scales a bit. The new Google algorithms do not reward efforts. You can make a glorious effort and end up with zilch if you do not know the tricks of the trade. People who actually make things and change the world do not have time to mess around with search engine updates and algorithms. They become the victim of a ranking system that is terribly flawed. It is flawed because a person or their business should never be appraised by their ability to manipulate search engine ranking results on google. I am still looking for answers to this and have found some. I guess it is a journey - one that seeks to be independent from any change in google's algorithm.
