Dreams of quitting my day job - My hopes, plans and dreams
Main
I am what many people would consider a “workaholic.” Outside of my normal 9-5 job, I constantly am working on different projects or businesses to earn extra income and I have easily put in 80+ hour work weeks constantly for the past 5+ years. More on that in another post though!
It is not that I necessarily love working as much as it is that I have a strong desire to quit my “day job,” that provides me with no challenges or excitement(which I am sure many, many people can relate to), and work from home.
After many years of trying my hand at a myriad of businesses and investments, I believe I have grown a strong enough work ethic and enough financial/business savvy to earn an income on my own that will be substantial enough to support myself and my family to live a very comfortable lifestyle for the rest of our lives.
Over the course of the next three years, my goal will be to accumulate $250,000 in savings from my various income generating investments and projects so that I can feel comfortable enough to quit my job and work from home doing what makes me happy at my own leisure.
The road will not be easy, but I believe I have put together a solid enough plan to get to where I hope to be and I will be documenting my journey with you all as I go along. Through this process, I hope to not only inspire and motivate myself to achieve the goals I have set forth, but to hopefully give others insight and motivation so that they may also make themselves happier and financially independent.
Wish me luck!
I will be updating my progress on a regular basis so please check out my profile to follow my progress and see all of the posts that I am writing that follow my journey.
