Many internet marketers are getting on the nerves of their lists with the number of emails and opportunities sent to them daily. Discover how I deal with them in my own way.
Internet Marketing Or Ambush Marketing?
I have recently had problems with some internet marketers that I opted into their email lists bombarding my email accounts with many emails soliciting my purchase of one product or the other. Some of the other marketers are also promoting one list or the other and wanting me to sign up.
And yet, some others are promoting one get rich immediately offer or pushing one register free and make thousands of dollars within a month. They send several mails to my email account that I have no time to read, not to talk of taking any action sought by the marketers.
I am fed up with these emails that hold no promise for me or meant to help or assist me in any way. Rather, these internet marketers try to force me to patronize their business opportunities and products by sending me emails days on end.
Dealing With Unwelcome Emails
However, I have found a way to deal with them without their knowing it. I once learnt from a forum on the internet that if you send a mail to unsubscribe from their mailing list, they know that you use that email account and, therefore, find a way to continue sending these mails to you knowing that you use such email account.
Therefore, what I do is to change the settings of my email account to either delete these emails straight away or send it to spam folder or send these mails to archive. This way, they continue to send the mails but it never gets to me or gets in my way. They are happy to have sent an opportunity across to me; I am happy that their sent mails do not get to me or disturb me; and we are all happy!

I have a handful of email accounts and I set my filters to send unwanted emails to the spam folder. Also with most email accounts you can set them up so any email from a sender that you haven't added to your White List automatically goes into a spam or junk folder. I have all my accounts set up that way except the one I use for querying because I have to be able to receive email from people I haven't dealt with before.

Thanks Jerry for your comment. We must devise ways of dealing with these things or we end up spending time dealing with them later.
