Blog or website, what is the best chose for someone who wants to start an online business and has no clue of what the difference is between the the two?

Many who plan to start an Internet Business and make money on the Internet, do not know the answer to this question, and what really is the best choice. Some think that creating a blog is the right choice, because it is a more interactive and suitable for affiliations, others are convinced that it is necessary to have your own website, as an ideal tool for selling products online. I think both have their advantages and disadvantages.

But what are the differences between a blog and a website?
Basically, there are two important differences.
First, it is easier to get traffic and visitors to a blog than a website .
This is due to the structure of the Blog, which through a process, that in internal jargon is called "ping" (such as using Word Press) automatically indexes all items on search engines.

All this surely will allow your blog to be "enough" visited,even if you do not care to advertise it, or you do not have many backlinks. A web site does not have this type of structure. In the latter case, you need backlinks pointing to your site so that search engines can find the place.

The second difference is that if you have a website, you may also take a break from time to time, because it does not need regular updates. A Blog needs to be updated regularly, on daily basis, and constantly add new content. If you take a brake on "holidays" people could get bored and do not follow you anymore. Not only, but the traffic coming from search engines will decrease significantly.
Meanwhile, what may be the option best for you, perhaps is starting with your own web business?

The best option to begin, if you don't know very well what to pick, but your purpose would be to have both of these tools is to open a blog with Word Press, but make use of it as if it were a real Web site. But how can do that? Basically that can be done, and simply alter some settings

directly from your Word Press control panel: Uses a Default Page as Home (page) of your blog, rather than the traditional recent Post, so as to apply it like a Webpage to speak about you or Selling Your Product.
